I won Microcosms Flash Fiction short story competition this week with my first ever entry. The rules required a story in no more than 300 words in response to any chosen line from a list of prompts. The story had to be written and submitted within a one day deadline. The prompt line that I chose was ‘There were so many things to do, to see, to be.’ My story ‘Freaks’ was judged to be the winner. You can read it for free here at ‘Freaks’ or on the competition website at www.microcosmsfic.
