A lot of my writing stems from experiences growing up and working mainly in North Lancashire and South Lakeland. Some are true stories. However, others are pure fiction. Where I use those experiences as a setting for a fictional story I exaggerate, distort, change and invent situations to make them more interesting. I do exactly the same with my characters.
